Please continue to check your Flinders email address for important communications about your Higher Degree by Research (HDR) thesis examination and results.

While your thesis is being examined, we recommend:

  • familiarising yourself with the next steps in the thesis examination process (see further information linked below)
  • start considering any content in your thesis that may be subject to copyright and applying for copyright permission if required.

This is often a good time to take a break, connect with family and friends, work on publications, obtain work experience and, if you haven’t already, update your CV and start applying for jobs.

We understand that this is an anxious time for students. The HDR Exams team will process your examination as efficiently as possible, while maintaining the integrity of the examination process. You can check the status of your examination in Inspire: Go to the Examination menu and select Results.

You will continue to have access to the Flinders Library, email, FLO and Student System throughout the examination process.
