The CHESSN is your Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number. All Commonwealth supported or assisted students are assigned a CHESSN. The CHESSN is used by the Australian Government to record details of your HELP debts and other assistance. You can use your CHESSN to access information from the Study Assist website.
