The Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS) was introduced to assist in national and international recognition of Australian qualifications and promote international mobility and professional recognition of graduates. It provides a description of the nature, level, context and status of the studies that were successfully completed by the graduate. The AHEGS is only issued to students who graduated in December 2011 or after, and will be issued in addition to a testamur and academic transcript.
