You can tell us in the Student System how to pronounce your name so our reader can pronounce it correctly as you cross the stage.
- Go to My Study.
- Select Manage My Course.
- Select Graduation.
- Add or change the pronunciation of your name in Phonetic Name Details and save.
The phonetic name is writing your first and last names as they sound, not as they are written. For example: Stephen Damon Smith is “Stee-ven Day-mon Smith”.
You can also provide pronunciation details when registering for graduation in the Graduation Booking Portal.

Please note: changing the pronunciation of your name will not affect the way it’s printed on your testamur, which displays your Formal Name as displayed in the Student System.
