Student services and amenities fees (SSAF) are payable by all domestic students including research higher degree candidates who may also be employed by a university and/or based externally.
Student services and amenities fees for time-based higher degree research candidates are calculated on enrolment load (full time/part time status) and the number of days enrolled during each enrolment period. The fee is reduced for students on a recognised external mode of attendance. More information about the current rate of the fee is available on the (SSAF) Fee schedule page.
An email is sent in January and July each year to all enrolled domestic research candidates to advise that this fee has been generated and contains information on how to access the current Fee Account via the Student System.
