Flinders University will look at your home address as recorded on the Student System and check if this is in a rural or regional area based on the ASGC Remote Awareness Classification. Student can check this themselves online on the Department of Health and Ageing website. For most scholarships, address in Inner Regional, Outer Regional, Remote and Very Remote areas will be considered as rural or regional. For some scholarships you also need to be living away from home to be eligible for a rural or regional scholarship.
This will be assessed on your semester address and your home address as recorded in the Student System.
