University studies represent a period in your child’s life when they should not only work on developing their knowledge and skills, but their self-reliance and independence. This means taking responsibility for their future by completing their own university application.
While you are welcome to provide support to your child when they are making decisions about what to apply for and accepting course offers, we hope you’ll encourage them to begin forming their relationship with the university as early as possible.
Applying on behalf of your child also puts their university application at risk of being rejected. Legally, your child needs apply and accept their university offer themselves, or their offer may be withdrawn.
