The census date for a topic is the day when a Commonwealth supported student incurs a student contribution amount and a fee-paying student incurs a tuition fee.

Non-semester topics (e.g. summer schools, intensives)
The census date for non-semester topics is the day after 20% of the combined teaching and assessment period has elapsed, unless this day falls on a weekend, then the census date will be the following Monday. Use the Topics pages to view exact dates relating to your summer and other non-semester topics.

Census dates appear on your Confirmation of Enrolment. This can be printed from the Student System by selecting the 'My enrolment' tab and then 'View my current enrolment' from the left-hand side menu. For more information about other key enrolment dates please refer to the Critical enrolment dates page.
