Once you have received an offer to study at Flinders University (and have responded to the offer as per the instructions in the email from SATAC) you can officially accept your offer with Flinders and complete your enrolment online. To accept your offer, you will need to activate your Flinders account. Once you have done this, you will be directed you to set up your Okta dashboard. Okta is Flinders' single sign on point for the systems, programs and info you will need while at university. It includes access to the Student System, which you will need to accept your offer and complete enrolment.

After you have accepted your offer, you have already completed the first two steps outlined in the New students section of Compass, your personalised student website. Please read and follow the 'Step 3 - Provide details', 'Step 4 - Plan studies' and 'Step 5 - Get enrolled' information carefully and follow the step-by-step instructions to ensure the enrolment process runs smoothly.  The New students webpage also includes detailed information and ‘how to’ videos about how to accept your offer, how to apply for Commonwealth support (if eligible), and how to enrol in topics and register for classes. The enrolment web page also provides useful information and links to course advice and timetable planning.

Don’t leave enrolment to the last minute! The earlier you start the enrolment process, the better chance you have of securing a timetable that suits your needs. We recommend you enrol in all topics for the year, even if you decide to change your enrolment later.

If you need help enrolling, Flinders staff are available to provide support. You can call Flinders Connect during business hours for general enrolment enquiries 1300 354 633 (option 2) or submit an enquiry online through Ask Flinders (you can also access Ask Flinders via Okta).

Continuing students should view the enrolment and class registration schedule page for enrolment and class registration opening dates.

How do I check I am enrolled correctly?
You can check that you have successful enrolled by logging into the Student System (via Okta), selecting ‘My Enrolment’ and ‘View My Current Enrolment’. If you have the topics you require listed here, then you have successfully enrolled.

When is the last day I can enrol?
The last day to enrol in topics and register for classes is the Friday of week two each semester.  See critical enrolment dates for specifics.

How do I apply for credit transfer?
If you have studied previously at a higher education institution or TAFE you may be eligible for credit towards your course. Details of how to apply for credit are available on the Credit Transfer web page.
