Examination Services aim to minimise heavy exam schedules wherever possible.

For end of semester examinations, the University expects that students will not have to sit more than two examinations per day, or no more than three examinations in two days. It is rare that students are required to sit more than one exam per day or more than two exams over two consecutive days.

For students sitting a large number of supplementary exams (four or more) in a supplementary examination period, it is not possible to limit the number of exams a student can sit per day or week as the supplementary exam period is shorter than the normal exam timetable.
